... Parks were represented along with gun clubs. Their was a museum of old stuff - a lot in use and demonstrated - like an old wood oven, with women cooking and baking, yum. Can you believe it, the Scouts stand had a skinned bear and wolf - yuk. Lots of crafts, animals, food and rides. The highlight was skillet throwing, by women only - it was so much fun to ...

... Highway, Albany's covered bridge, and lunch at Catalanos (chicken stuffed with brie cheese and cranberries, roast beef, carrots, potatoes, etc.) were highlights. The cog ride was a bit scary. The weather station at the top has recorded record-breaking wind speeds of 231 miles per hour! I shall never complain about Cheyenne’s winds again! They advertise this mountaintop to be “the worst weather in the world.” Not ...

... Tour went from Conway, NH to Portland, ME. Since we were near Portland, we reversed the trip. As we drove the route, we didn't have any sense of why this route was listed as one of 5 something special. This tour was labeled the 'Fall Fun’ tour and, ok, we didn’t take the recommended steam paddle boat ride, the trolley ride in Old Portland and it isn’t quite fall color time, but if you aren't interested in those, ...
