The past few days have been a mix of things. It's interesting how, even though I'm doing the same thing every day, each day is very different. My journey started semi-roughly when most of my gear didn't make it to Atlanta with me. Thankfully, it ended up at the hostel the next morning and I was able to pack it up before catching the shuttle to the start of the trail.

... called Mountain Crossing that sells pizza and coffee so I quickly changed my mind. I ended up staying here in the hostel, it's supposed to pour tonight so I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a dry bed. Planning on doing about 11 miles tomorrow, it's supposed to rain and snow tomorrow so we will see if I'm able to make it to Low Gap ...

In less than 3 months he researched and bought all of his gear and has a very nice set up. Spent Thanksgiving here. On Thanksgiving day we ate a buffet at Western Sizzler with 18 workers etc. from the campground, then on saturday the campground provided turkeys and everyone brought covered dishes and we all ate at the clubhouse.
