... there. More great catching up! On Labour Day we headed for the border on the start of our return trip. Made it just past Bemidji to Walker, Minnesota, on Tuesday we made it as far as Winona, Minn., and then last night we arrived in Geneseo, Illinois. The city was an eye sore coming up from the south side. It's very industrial with tons of train tracks and semis. I spotted two touring cyclists across a divided road going the opposite direction. It was two girls, and one had a big smile and waved. I was so bummed that I didn't get to meet them. ...

... got dumped on but then rode out of it all. Dried off a little bit before we got to the hotel which was nice. Funny how Mother Nature got us all wet but then dried us off with the air flow from being on the bike. I wear a hanky around my face when it's cold or rainy, so it probably looked funny me waving it on the back of the bike to dry it off :). Free laundering services :) Poor Shane he can't ...
