A beautifully appointed room, looking out over a lovely garden, active canal, and the romantic City of Bath! Our hosts welcomed us into their beautiful home, helped us get our luggage up to our 1st floor room, offered us a glass of wine while we "unwound" from the drive, and left us to enjoy the many books, framed art, and tourist information. Full English Breakfast the next morning at a table set with linens, overlooking the garden, and with Bath Cathedral's spire as backdrop. Heartily Recommend!

What interesting history here - the original Roman Baths, from the time before England was known as England!

... experience. First of all, KT and I embarked on this journey in a limo bus full of strangers, which suited us just fine. With a couple of glasses of champagne, we made fast friends and were on our way to a swell time. I have decided that Temecula is the fast food of wine country, being very much geared towards no frills wine "tasting". There's no wine-ucation (see what I did there?), but many trips to Napa has afforded ...

... food for tomorrow mostly sorted, a to-do list, train ticket. I should be able to wadner Portsmouth, but if not I'll buy a map. I'll take a ton of pictures but I won't be home till about 9 in the evening. It's going to be quite the day. I'm glad I didn't try for this a different day, travel is usually pretty tiring. As it is, I am pretty tired so I"ll put everything together and sleep. That's the plan.

... be more than done season 1 by the time I leave on Friday.

I spent an abnormal amount of time watching House in the afternoon and going through the two Kits I've made: I think both are mostly done, they just need a test run to make sure they're as complete as I can make them. Actually, I should consolidate them with my notes on TCM world building originally. That'll take a while.

Sarah came home. Her sister had the baby, a healthy ...

It feels like I didn't do a lot today in retrospect. I examined vocabulary list, started looking at what to do with history in TCM, polished off Prison Break season 2....that's where a lot of time went. Replied to Go Global Buddy, a very long email yet again, watched BBT. I was going to find and watch Dark Angel for some reason but decided against it in order to start watching House because of Hugh Laurie basically: he's God here it seems.
