i'm not sure what's worse: air canada, or the fact that compared to other north american airlines, it doesn't get much better than air canada. *sigh*

minor annoyance pre-flight - "technical" difficulties with their mobile and web check-in service, lands me at a window seat for the long haul flight. gah. not a fan. looks like i'll be hanging out in the cabin for lots of it.

on to toronto, and onwards we go...

tee-minus one week. this time next week i'll be somewhere over thunder bay, or manitoba watching one of the movies on the plane, rationing, hoping not to watch all the good ones on the way to vancouver, leaving the rubbish for the 13 hour flight to hong kong.

the suitcase is out of the closet. currency exchanges have been made. of note (pun intended), all the vietnamese dong bills have a picture of ho chi minh on them, but he looks like mr myagi from the karate kid. ...
