While Gord was at the Junior Curling Championships, I had a mini quilt retreat here in Yuma. Judy & I quilted pretty much every day and evening. Got a lot accomplished. Fun and friendship quilting.

... was delayed in London which triggered a domino effect of missed connections. I landed and RAN (literally ran) through Pearson to catch my shuttle. I was sent to the wrong place, ran back to the right one and got to Union Station 20 minutes after my train left. Hard to believe we are home already. We would have spent extra time in BC but since we celebrate Christmas with Chris' family a week early we had every reason to come home.

We drove out to Picton on Friday and will stay for the weekend before Chris starts work again for a short while at the walk in clinic.

Eine Woche nach meiner Ankunft auf der Farm bekommen wir Nachwuchs in Form von Hühnern. Sie sind gerade mal zwei Tage alt, gelb und flauschig. Es handelt sich hierbei um Hühner, die nur dazu da sind, gegessen zu werden. Das klingt vielleicht ein bisschen markaber und ist schwer vorstellbar, wenn man sich die Kleinen anguckt, aber diese Rasse nimmt sehr schnell an Gewicht und Größe zu und isst den ganzen Tag, wenn man sie lässt.
