    Yellowstone was awesome!!! We saw bear, bison, elk, deer, and lots of other cool things. We also saw hot springs, mud pots, and Old Faithful. The mud pots were really stinky. The hot springs were very hot. Old Faithful you could mostly see steam. But now I will tell you the good things. The mud pots were super bubbly. The hot springs were very pretty and colorful.     Happy Fourth of July! Taking down the campsite this morning went smoothly, fast and a little more dirty and wet than we had hoped. Not that it was raining,or that there was mud or anything, just everything was damp with dew and covered in a layer of dirt.     Just before highway 95 climbs the 2700 vertical feet out of the canyon we pass White Bird, a town of 91 souls. White Bird is named for the chief of the Nez Perce tribe when the U.S. Army attacked at the 1877 Battle of White Bird Hill. The Army was soundly defeated in the battle that started the Nez Perce War.
