    ... and had a happy hour drink and appy and then went grocery shopping in Walmart. After everything was put away we walked over to the Red Line Diner and had a delicious supper. Clarence had meatball sliders, Gail had turkey, Jim had is usual fish and chips and I had friend chicken with mashed potatoes with a biscuit and veggies.     Newburgh was dire. The motels had nothing going for them and the town was a run down ghetto. Even a diversion to the river ended up in a creepy fairground. We found a shop selling nothing but beer, then got out as quickly as possible.
