    Hut 2... 3... 4... Visited West Point military academy for a look around. Probably not going there... But very cool looking around with the outstanding views and prestigious schedules. PJ

    I really enjoyed the campus it is very compact and very peaceful by the Hudson River. Lots of stone buildings and signs saying go Army beat Navy. I need to work on my push-ups and cadence songs if I want to go there though. ...

    ... br> We then headed to the Tannersville Outlet shopping Mall. This is a massive area where we stayed for about three hours, had Chinese for lunch (the best veges we've had on this trip) - Americans really know how to slaughter the greens here. Jack needed a hair cut badly so him & Russell headed away to do that. Jack also needed new jeans and shoes which were again so cheap! The outlet shopping in America is very good, Felicity got a pair of Levis today for $17. ...

    ... group, and it amazes me the amount of work they do - just because they want to make the area better for others. This is only one if the great reasons to hike the A.T., meeting great people who really care about more than just themselves! Rain started falling at 11pm, and now I have been up for about 45 minutes writing today's entry, and finishing up the other days entry.     ... and stepped in a wasp nest, it was in the middle of the trail! I managed to only get stung once :) Made it to the road for Unionville, and then walked under the bridge, got naked, and took a shower using my Platypus Drinking Bladder. Felt great to be clean! We headed into the Tavern at Unionville, what a great group of people there!
