... because I got lost and well STRONG WINDS.

I headed on back roads to Alta Vista Chapel. I believe another 10km, no problem getting there....winds ok. Worth the visit, very pretty ride out there and gorgeous location for the chapel. Houses along the way were interesting to say the least, on bike it was easier to notice. From there I had more time so I decided to make my way to the Natural Bridge (not worth the trip) but got lost and ended up halfway ...

... We hired a man to drive us around for 2 hours. It is 88* outside. Very windy. Val made me laugh, saying the sturgeons are surgin'. ... a good amount of time in the water and playing in the sand.

After relaxing at the beach in the morning Omar went shopping at the "Super Food" across from our resort and got provisions for the week. We enjoyed Suzanne's special granola cereal for breakfast, tuna salad sandwiches for lunch and hamburgers for dinner with Suzanne's yummy mashed potatoes.

We will all sleep well tonight after all this time in the sun, wind and sand!

... in the southern Caribbean for it's uniqueness and tax free shopping. Dave got an early birthday present, a Swiss watch from here. (he didn't want a pair of diamond earrings unfortunately). Maybe the French side is a sh*t hole (oops did I say that), because the cruise terminal and money is on the Dutch side. The French side does have a nudist beach though, where people in their late hundreds swim - not a place you want to be accidentally snorkelling at. Regardless of that, these ...
