Our first day in Whangeria was spent

There was a flash mob Haka in Whangarei on the day of the match, we tried to get up close but to no avail but it did sound cool. The game was savage craic as we were sitting alonside Togan supporters and they were so funny that we thoroughly enjoyed the game and in the last 10 minutes some great rugby was played by Canada. Ups!
... waren die letztes Jahr eingestürzt. Dies hielt mich jedoch nicht davon ab einfach oben drüber zu klettern und von den eher porösen Kalksteinklippen die Aussicht zu genießen. Für die Nacht hatten wir uns Kawakawa ausgesucht, dem letzten Wohnsitz von Hundertwasser und benutzten mit heller Freude die von ihm designeten öffentlichen Toiletten. Hundertwasser in Neuseeland! Da ist mir klar, woher seine schrägen Ideen kamen ;-)

... Nach Recherche in Letzterem entscheiden wir heute noch: Wir fliegen über Singapur zurück. Das macht den Urlaub zwar teurer und die Rückreise etwas anstrengender. Aber 20 Stunden neben einem Atomkraftwerk zu verbringen, dass vielleicht doch noch in die Luft fliegt, klingt auch nicht nach Wellness.
