Two hour drive into VA - everyone up and in the bus in time. UVA tour by a nice volunteer. Lots of cool traditions (yes, they dress up for football games - guys in ties, girls in pearls. Bustling campus in a lovely town Favorite school so far for many: university of Richmond. Beautiful grounds and buildings. Amazing liberal arts with pre-professional training. Large campus for a 3,000 undergraduate population ...

Today after a massive lay in and a morning doing pretty much nothing besides watching Bear Grylls on TV, we went over to Bryce and Abby's to see them for the last time as they are leaving tomorrow. ... Washington and somehow managed to get through everything in just over 30 minutes where we met Caryn and started the drive back. We stopped at Denny's for steak. Lots and lots of steak. ... Caverns on tuesday. It was amazing, the rock formations are really cool, we saw stalagtites, stalagmites and some columns too. There is also an underground lake known as Dream Lake that has a perfect reflection. When we were walking up to it, it was hard to tell where the water line was.

Day Five - Craft Day

... looking around the shops, we went to eat lunch at the red robin restaurant. We then went ot buy some scrapbooks and craft materiel for them in Michael's (craft store) followed by a trip to Barnes and Noble bookstore. When we get back we will show you guys the scrapbooks we have done.

Overall a very successful day, despite the heat.
