... in the afternoon so we had several small stops. he finally found a passable coffee at a Kwik Trip. The waitress said they had a new machine which gave coffee like Starbucks. Wes was a little sceptical about how good it would be but was pleasantly surprised.Coffee is cheap.We paid $3.36 for a coffee and an ice-cream for me.

... the smoothest pre-departure eve we've ever had. Got a little sad having to say all my goodbyes but I think the time will fly by. Pegster hooked me up with some fresh freezer candy which I have all packed up for my flight, just like she told me to do AND we planned a birthday reunion dinner at anchor bay to celebrate our birthdays when I return. Can't wait to get out of this freezing weather and back to paradise tomorrow.. you're only a day away!!!! ...

We met Cliff's father who is very all there in his late 90's, and a girl who was very proud of her John Deere cap with little jewels on it. John Deere make tractors and related farm equipment, so this cap was 'farm glam'.
