One interesting (and not too likable) part of this golf course were the apartments/condos which lined the first three holes. One of the things we did do to have the kids gear up for an eventual Disney trip was to have a Disney savings jar that they could add to anytime they got money
(birthdays, etc), and they each have saved up close to $100 to spend. Plus they each got a $50 gift card from grandma, so we should be all set for souvenir spending money. I hope we don't have to buy another suitcase to get it all home!

Well it's about that time, all packed up and ready to fly out tomorrow! I somehow managed to pack everything into my pack and a carryon suitcase- just hoping I'm under the 50 pound limit and that I can lift my suitcase into the overhead compartment (that's my biggest fear). Mom is being surprisingly calm, except she made me bring two purses to be "safe" and modeled how to wear the unsafe purse correctly….. But I can't complain, I'd say ...

We met Cliff's father who is very all there in his late 90's, and a girl who was very proud of her John Deere cap with little jewels on it. John Deere make tractors and related farm equipment, so this cap was 'farm glam'.
