... do it... so here I am! We got to La Pointe an hour and a half before the tour started so we stopped at Mission Hill Coffee House again. Their breakfast was good and it was right across the street from Adventure Vacations, where we were meeting for the tour. We went over to the shop when it was time and we were greeted by the lady who I booked the tour with last week. She was so sweet, I feel awful for forgetting her name. We bought some sandwiches and waters for ...

We went back to La Pointe to get ice cream from Granpa Tony's. I had a waffle cone with a scoop of cherry ice cream on the bottom and a scoop of Carmel something or another on top. I'm totally taking credit for most of it. I'll give a bit of credit to Mirza though... I didn't bring a hammer so he was resourceful and grabbed a log to hammer in the stakes. It worked out really well :) By the time we were done, ...

... just in our bike cloths. The sun started coming out as we made our way across to the island. What a great ride we had on the island. We started out across the island for the State Park in the middle of the Madeline Island. Seven miles later, we were there. A very green and tree lined road with Lupine like you've never seen. I think we’ve seen at least four colors of it so far. The flowers had to be at ...

Upper Wisconsin is forested like Oregon in many ways, but lakes majestically present themselves at every turn. Following "The Most Scenic Drives in America" recommendation, we traced the 'Wisconsin North Woods' tour. Amnican Falls gave us a good reason to stretch. The tannin influence of water color distracted from the falls charm. Bayfield, WI hosts the 22 Apostle Islands State park. A 3-hour cruise rendered a ...
