Cheaper than those hotels right on the edge of the cliff, but still with amazing views, this hotel is a good compromise, especially as there is a superb pool area for your use at a nearby sister hotel, and the staff here are so nice. A couple of lovely terraces for the guests to use.
Avoid room 7 until they refurbish the bathroom, however- and for the view, room six is best and room eight is excellent too.

Amerys Travels from Santorini Island, Greece
While staying at Paros for our three weeks, a four day side trip to Santorini Island, one of our two favourite islands we have visited in the World (the other is Bora Bora in the South Pacific)
After a one day cruise ship visit in 1985 we last stayed here for a week 17 years ago, and …
... and finally to Oia. We wandered past white buildings, thousands of pink bougainvillea plants, up and down many staircases past beautiful private pools, expensive cafes and much fancier hotels than we could afford. The walk was stunning, hot but beautiful and ended in the mesmerising Oia, where all the photos you see in brochures are taken. But we arrived at 3pm and waited till sunset, so it was funny to wait and then not see it fully, but hey, we don't need to be like everyone ...
... Oia. We had a light lunch, shared a Gyros plate which was very tasty followed by a Bailey's Iced Coffee - yum. It was nice to sit down and be able to get free WiFi, although it was very slow. The view overlooking the water from here was superb, take a lot of beating. This evening they put on an aerial act which wasn't bad, a little hard to see from where we were sitting, followed by a violinist, Gary Lovini who was ...
... Lorraine said that she wanted to walk even though the cable car was available to her but with a queue that took over 90 mins of waiting in the heat. It took us 90 min to walk down the 600 or so steps, which was a cross between “Rawhide,Blackpool & the M25”! with the numbers of people walking in both directions as well as the many many donkeys. The steps were about 1 metre in length and 1 metre wide, ...
... Red Beach, the Black Beach (Akrotiri) and the beach in Perissa (what a beautiful beach lined with cafés and restaurants).
Small island with romantic views, great shopping, great restaurants with fantastic views.. Highly recommend it if you can get away....
