... too well, maybe it was that donkey ride! Spotted the polish priest so invited him to join us, so spent an enjoyable time chatting. Did a little shopping, and it was a lovely warm day. There were heaps of bars here with views to rival Mavericks and Vues at Nelson Bay. But our churches don't compete at all! All up, a lovely spot. What surprises me most is the variety in the islands we visited. You could certainly spend days in each of these ...

      ... delicious!

Dimitri, our regular waiter visited with us some about when he came to Santorini from Greece. He had expected everyone to riding on donkeys and there would be no cars. Evidently on Santorini at one time this was true.

Had a nice day there and then walked back to Katerados and off to bed.

... that we experience this town without the thousands of tourists that you would expect. Three thousand of them are supposed to land tomorrow from big cruise ships. To come down to Fira from Oiya you can ride the donkey down, walk down the same path as the donkey or ride the funicular down. Victor walked down the same route as the donkeys. I took the funicular just because I did not want to be run over by the ...

... gates closed, people everywhere, you need to jump on rooftops to get some shots, slippery surfaces, millions of steps so you just got to try from millions of angles to get the best ones possible. I feel sorry for any brides who think it was a good idea to wear high heels on their wedding day. I would highly recommend wearing flat shoes as it could be slippery and lots of steps and uneven surfaces, those wearing heels I would say good luck. So that is why ...
