... to town and turn in the bikes. Away we went and ended up in the wrong town. All of a sudden we are in a town we thought should be Fira but wasn’t. We were in Pyrgos, a town we had come through yesterday, but not this morning. Crud. It was now 12:55 and we had to get to Fira.

Back to the highway where we realized our wrong turn and off we went. We pulled into the rental at 1:05 and we were greeted by the gentleman who we rented from. We told ...

Santorini Ok here goes- Santorini is a mountain.....a huge mountain. The cliffs are almost at a 90 degree angle in some get anywhere you almost need to be a mountain climber, steep stairs to get anywhere in the main village of Santorini. Our hotel is right in the heart of the village with shops everywhere. It has the best sunset views on the island of Santorini. Most of the hotels have view over the Mediterranean Sea which has ...

The next morning we were at the airport and on our way back to Vienna. The week flew by but it was definitely a trip of a lifetime. I cant wait to go back to Santorini in the (most likely distant) future.

Next up, picking up Hillary at the airport in Vienna and then spending the weekend in Budapest and a few days exploring more of Vienna!

... mmmmm. ***********centrate on my book - PLEASE!! Paul stays up on deck, but it's starting to chop up a bit rough and the motion with a lack of sleep combined making me feel queasy. Unbelievably it's dark by 5, but the days are so glorious, they're forgiven for being shorter than we're used to. More dinner and drinks, and tonight's show is 'Radio', a new show they've bought on board. It's going to be another very bumpy windy night. YUCK. Anyone got something that will knock me out till ...

... and had a quick shower before breakfast. Breakfast was only served after 08h30, which illustrates the typical Santorini lifestyle. The breakfast consisted of various types of breads and pastries and one or two hot items. The best part, however, was the Greek yoghurt and honey. This delicious and simple combination is a breakfast staple yet also appears on most restaurants' dessert lists. Need I say more? I think I ate more yogurt in Greece than I normally eat in ...
