Saturday, August 9th On the way to Auburn, NY

We got an early start of around 8:30 this morning, weather was looking good and it was fairly warm. The kitties did not send us off with a nice good by.

... On the way we saw a deer drinking in the canal and 2 bald eagles.

Again, even though we had rain predicted for much of the week, we had beautiful weather for Nick and Lina’s visit. Now that Nick returned with the car it has started to rain. The weather gods have been with ...

Since we have the use of Lina's car, we took a road trip around Lake Seneca. Our first stops were two more waterfalls, Hector Falls and Montour Falls. Both were impressive and interesting because of their locations. Hector Falls were right next to the roadway and actually flowed underneath it. Mountour ...
