... the fancy walker I gave her...that's what old people use! The mind and memory are amazing, if only I could remember half the detail or stories my mother does!

We did a few short car trips to see the local familiar sights, we visited her dear sister Maggie's one year old grave, we had lunches in the Headfort Arms in Kells and the Silver Tankard and as always the beef was too tough but Mammy wouldn't miss it again the next day.

... tonight because our beds are right by a window and the heater (which is right by my bed) is not on so I may freeze to death. It's possible. Cold metal is really cold! Anyway, tomorrow looks like our Guinness tour and then a whole bunch of drinking! ... do it for now! I'm going to include a photo of ALL the flat mates thanks to the barman at Copan, our first stop on Grace's birthday, and some shots of Rathgar, the closest little main street area near our apartment. It's less than a 10 minute walk. We are technically in Rathmines, but downtown Rathgar is closer. It's a bit smaller but the quality of the shopping is above average. I'm told it's also a pretty swanky area!
