... in 1897 when they built their house. It is up on a cliff overlooking the valley. By the time we arrived, it also was getting ready to close, so we just walked around the grounds for a bit.
One of the couples we met last year at the Passport America Rally in Concord, NC is here and are also staying tonight, so we're going out to eat later. They are from Texarkana and know one of the couples in our RV chapter. Anyway they are also working their way north for the FMCA rally.
... hamburgers and hot dogs were OK, but nothing to write home about. The watermelon was ok, but no salt!
After "linner" we played another round of BINGO. We didn't win anything, but it was fun, so guess that counts for something.

... by a comedian named Rik Roberts. He is the one who was "Barney Fife". His routine is clean, funny and family oriented. We first saw him in Goshen at the FROG rally we attended.
After dinner they gave away some door prizes and we played BINGO again, only this time we won $42!! We play 10 games and Ryan, the caller, sure comes up with some weird games and it seems to take a long time. We haven't been getting back "home" until after 10:30, way past our bedtime!! ...
... to see if there was anything new. There wasn't, but it took up some time. By the time it was over, it was close to dinner, so I stayed there and waited for Bob.
The dinner meals are included in the rally price and tonight we had BBQ pork, baked beans, steamed veggies, rolls and cookies for dessert. It was pretty good and better than the place we went yesterday for dinner.

... other side of the RV next to us and it worked, so far no problem. The folks next to us had to run their water hose over to our side since they didn't have a water hookup. In the midst of all the trial and error stuff, I must have over used my right hand, because the arthritis in my right thumb really kicked in. So after dinner, we made our daily trip to Walmart and I bought one of those black gloves!! It should be much better tomorrow.
