Sunday we met up with our long time friend (met in 1985) Joe at a fabulous cove near his friend's house on the Great Wicomico River. Joe's friends met us there in their go-fast boat where we went swimming, kayaking, and relaxed in the warm breeze. Believe it or not, we made it: We crossed the continent by bike!

We had been counting down the weeks, days, then the miles. Finally, we came around a corner and the road just stopped. You couldn't go any further and we were at the ocean. The journey had finished.
