I traveled south to Richmond, Virginia for my day off. The weather was beautiful, but I spent a decent portion of my day watching the ACC and SEC men's basketball championship games. Afterwards I made my way in Richmond to check out the sights around the James River, including the American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar. Afterwards I took the walking bridge across the river onto Belle Isle for a relaxing afternoon.

I had the opportunity to meet the men of one of the newest colonies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. It was exciting to see a new colony and how they interacted with each other as well as Justin Fisher, the staff member responsible for the expansion. You can tell that the men of this group greatly admired Justin for his work.

... when the waiter brought it, he apologized very graciously and informed Liz that her meal was on the house. So we forgave them. I can understand a mistake; I appreciate it when they admit it and do something to make up for it. The food was very good, too. We would definitely go back.
