    My dad had already earned the sticker proclaiming "This car climbed Mt. Washington" on a previous trip, but he wanted to get back to the top to share the experience with Tuukka the puppy, and myself.

    ... few ingredients to work with - just some seasonings that had been left at the hostel. Scallops to start, literally with just salt and pepper, were delicious. The clams were steamed in some beer and the salmon and swordfish chunks were panfried with a few mixed herbs. Everything was delicious, so fresh and forgiving, considering I managed to slightly undercook everything. Fortunately we both prefer that to the alternative!

    ... hotel desk person suggested Salty Seadog Brewing Co. It's obviously a local haunt and when we walked in everyone sitting at the bar stopped talking and looked at us. I couldn't hear Deliverance playing so I thought we were safe. After a 5 minute wait for our table our waiter blew us away with his service and attention.
