Sat downstairs watching the morning light arrive. Still dark at 7 am but it was finally light at 8. not sure I would be able to cope with that. but next week when daylight saving finishes, it will change for the people living here. No rush this morning for breakfast. Made a few sandwiches and packed the little cooler for a day out.

... drive into town and go about their Saturday tasks. At the shop, there was one long wall containing bolts of plain coloured fabrics with every shade within the colours of the rainbow. The Amish women mostly wore very conservatively styled dresses of one solid colour but the colours were not muted. They were bright - green, purple, orange, red, blue. I saw one lady wearing floral but it was a muted Liberty style tone.

Traveled this morning to Middlebury, Illinois. We are in Elhart County, which is the heart of the Indiana Amish. Our first destination was the Jayco Factory tour. Jayco is the company that made our current camper and past ones. We love how Jayco campers are constructed and are loyal to this company. Interesting to see how they are ...
