    ... and Mrs. B. at the Colonial Cafe for our Ice Cream Theme: Scoops with the Masters. The ice cream was amazing and the conversation was just as stimulating. It was fun to talk Kyukido history, philosophy, and training with these two great minds.     As of last week I have been accepted to teach abroad in China for an entire year starting this February 2015 with CIEE (Council on International Education and Exchange)! I cannot wait to see what I can offer the other side of the world and vise versa :) I won't be updating my blog much before I leave, but will try to keep up to date once I start my adventure on the other side of the world. I will ideally being doing at least 2 entires a week...fingers crossed.

    ... IL...you won't regret it.

    I found black pants to wear at the front gate (an errant dryer a month ago shrunk my second pair), a beautiful Indian print shawl, make-up, four books, a new-to-me purse, and a rainbow visor complete with LED lights that work. :) John found a sturdy black briefcase to use for walkaround, a book, and some foundation that will work in a pinch since he's low on make-up ...

    ... our goodbyes and drove around town. We were able to leave flyers at a few different businesses, but for the most part, we didn't have much luck because the stores were all large chain stores. We grabbed lunch from Culver's (they had a big circus poster in their window...woohoo!) and treated ourselves to their pumpkin shake (SOOOOO good) and went back to our campsite in Volo.

    The rain finally came and cooled things off, ...
