... somewhere around 12:30. After finding our hotel, and giving ourselves the guided tour of downtown it was time for lunch. It was either Subway, or McDonald's, our choice was limited. We decided on Subway, and the adventure began. I had to get the #1 idiot on the island making my sub. I ordered a footlong turkey sub. ... in the middle of the road. This group decided the road was their private spot, and we were not going anywhere. How hysterical it was to watch them bring a large bus to a complete stop. After tying up the road for 10-15 minutes they got bored with us, and let us leave. We had 45 minutes for lunch, and get to our boat tour. Lunch went down so fast we didn't know we ate. ... Trail, a 1.6 mile walking loop trail. On our way to the trail, we saw 3 ponies grazing in a marshy field along the roadway. Hiking the Woodland Trail to the pony lookout, our expectations were high. As it turned out, the ponies along the road were closer than the ponies at the lookout. We saw them through binoculars, but they were in the shade of trees, as it was quite warm. Bummer.

... to stop and just cruised thru Dewey and Bethany as well. Of course we had to look for some history so we found the old marker delineating the border of Maryland and Delaware (it was still part of pa when marker was made so it bears the penn family crest) at the fenwick island lighthouse. We decided not to drive down all of ocean city and cut over at the rt 90 bridge to start our cruise down the Delmarva. Went through the quaint towns ...
