... up with on our faces and necks...forgot our sun screen in the car and just never bothered to go back for it. Oh well, still an overwhelmingly amazing day.
Tomorrow we're off to see Michelle's family before making the long trek out west to Vancouver.

... for early Wednesday morning to cross western Lake Erie to the Detroit River. It's a two day trip home, but we're not sure where we will stop for the night. We'll see when we get there. It looks like a Thursday arrival in Port Huron.
... kinds of birds...Canadian geese, blackbirds, sparrows, seagulls, and some other birds I didn't recognize. Sadly, we ran across a goose that was tangled up in fishing line...it had to hop around on one leg because it couldn't extend the other. We tried to get it loose but it would just hop away from us (and quickly, too...pretty agile on one leg).
Out at the end of the park, we could see across the water to Cedar Point's island...that's ...
... and International Peace Memorial where an elevator took us 352 feet to the top providing a spectacular view of Lake Erie and the islands.
After being there and doing that we took the water taxi back to our quiet marina just ahead of a pretty good squall that passed through. Charlie was not pleased about that.
