... couple of mountain bikers. I hiked all the way up to the fork in the path, and we parted ways. I walked back down to the road.
It was a short ride back to Spruces Campground. The campground is kind of wild, there are about 50 sites and it ascends pretty high up. There are definitely some sites there that were kind of remote. I decided to be a little closer to the road and most of the other people.

... we see beautiful, snow-topped mountains. Outside my dining room window right now is a field of newly planted cherry tree saplings, then an apple orchard, and beyond that is Mt. Timpanogos, the highest point in Utah's Wasatch Range. The owner of Rowley's Red Barn told me that they have had 240% of their normal snowfall on that mountain top this year, so they're a bit worried about flooding.
