... collected a bunch of wood and thatch from near my site and started a nice, warm fire. The temperature was dropping quickly so this fire was for my food and warmth. I cooked more oatmeal, which I had been living on these past few days to some extent. Afterwards, while the sun was still up, I read and looked at maps at the picnic table.
