    ... dark as we turned back and enjoyed the beautiful sunset until it was gone. The GPS took us through all the little towns and 11 miles from home finally put us on the freeway.     ... sure what the men had by theirs! It was a 4 course dinner with all the wine we wanted. The ceiling in the room we were in was covered with hanging string instruments! Dessert was a mousse of a white pudding with current berries and a blackberry on top. The service was very good. Too bad others did not choose to come.     ... Sunday-27 degrees this morning, heavily overcast but dry-so far. The big book signing is tomorrow night-Please-NO SNOW or ICE! We spent the cold day at home, but not as cold as others have it today. In Scio Oregon, very close to where I grew up it was 0 degrees this morning.
