... appartment is tucked up above the garage, beside a lovely thatched roof home., looking out to trees, garden tweeting birds -and in the distance the cliffs of Devon. David has only bumped his head about 4 times! Yesterday was the river cottage cooking school- by the end we were exhausted, but we learnt a lot in idyllic surroundings. ... Around Lake Park they have a miniature boat park, a miniature railway, an ice skating rink and a water sport park along with lots of ducks and swans. Unfortunately they were all closed today except the railway. After walking back to the Quay we went on a cruise around the harbour and down the beginning of the Jurassic coast where we got off at Swanage a Victorian resort ...

... we're off to Torquay. Our final stop for the day is Poole. I had my first turn behind the wheel today, driving from Torquay to Poole, about 3 hours. Of course after taking the wheel about 10 minutes later Miss GPS takes me onto the M5, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Steve got to tick off another one of his list tonight, going to see the Poole Pirates at Poole Stadium, our Aussie boys in the team Chris Holder, Davey Watts and Dakoda North doing us proud. Days 55 - 61 play time for Alfred

... glad we did it the play area is massive and has loads of toys and soft play for Alfred. It's also all English speaking. The lady said there was room on the toddler sense class for Alfred on the Thursday so we are going to head down to sign up. I'm so excited as this is exactly what I was looking for. There is a drop in session on the Monday too so we are going to be doing that in the ear future. If I can get Alfred settled with these things then I can focus ...
