... Exeter Underground Passages. They were started in the 1300s to supply water to the cathedral and, later, to the town. A system under the city that carried the lead, then the iron, water pipes. Not enough bookings so he missed out and we had to be content with the museum display and video. Next time.

Drove on to near Dorchester to camp on a farm. Our LAST night camping for 2014 - we survived it ...

... a bit more, looking at stuff, bought a cool beanie for £10 and a couple of postcards. Had a bit of a sleep for the afternoon. Not sure if this was a good idea as hopefully I'll go to sleep tonight. I'm currently sitting at the hotel restaurant which is awesome. I have ordered a local beer called Badger Glory. It's so yummy, with a peachy after taste! I think it's even better than NZ beer, so ...

... while and then crashed out.

Sunday

We were awake fairly early so were on the road by 9.30am in the rain for the 168 miles to home, which unfortunately due to traffic hold-ups took us nearly 5 hours. Once home we just unloaded the food and clothes, and left the rest for another day.

An enjoyable end to the season, now it's time to put Juliette to bed and start thinking about what we would like to do next year.
