A good start to my trip, arriving early enough to make my way leisurely through the airport to the bus to the hotel. Canterbury to Arundel
... stop is Beachy Head. Around 6:30pm, we pull into the parking space on the side of the road and are amazed that there are signs saying we need to pay to park there. There are quite a few cars there so we figure we better do the right thing. Against our constitutional right for free road-side parking, we pay our 90p only to discover that you only need to pay if you are there between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
