Awoke to a beautiful sunrise over the mountains. Packed a picnic lunch and fishing gear and hit the road. Stopped at our favorite breakfast restaurant - Banner Elk Cafe. Planned to have dinner at a local bbq joint with live bluegrass band at 6:00. The band cancelled, but the food and atmosphere was wonderful.
Now back to our comfortable home on top of the mountain - listening to folk rock, relaxing, drinking a couple of cold ones.
