We decided to take a ride over Hwy 16 to Tazewell and to visit a valley called Burkes Garden on Thursday. Well the experience driving Hwy 16, called the "Back of the Dragon" with over 260 curves in 32 miles was very cool. The weekend finds this road crowded just like the "Tail of the Dragon" in North Carolina. Rex, Mike, TJ and Chuck you need to ride this road one day!!
Motorcycle riders would also like the road to Burkes Garden. ...

We had a nice drive to Marion, Virginia and Camp Burson Campground. We have a very nice pull-thru spot with full hook ups and pretty good wifi:) So we are good to go!!

Marion has lots of fast food places for a small town. They even have a Walmart but it closes at midnight. There is Hwy 16 that goes thru the park and it is called the Back of the Dragon, instead of the Tail of the Dragon. It is a very curvy road and lots ...

Soon we came to what used to be the restaurant and gift shop that are now closed then crossed the parkway and walked past the also-closed lodge.
