Awoke to a beautiful sunrise over the mountains. Packed a picnic lunch and fishing gear and hit the road. Stopped at our favorite breakfast restaurant - Banner Elk Cafe. Today was a little overcast and we needed an excuse to do nothing and just lounge around this beautiful house and take it all in. Wow! It was great. ... to just RELAX.

Planned to have dinner at a local bbq joint with live bluegrass band at 6:00. The band cancelled, but the food and atmosphere was wonderful.

Now back to our comfortable home on top of the mountain - listening to folk rock, relaxing, drinking a couple of cold ones.
