We did pop in at the Magnum store, where one could design one's own Magnum bar. We were tempted until we saw the operation up close -- had it been that we ourselves got to do the dipping, etc., it might have been worth it. ... place. Eventually we stumbled across where we wanted to be and I finally found the exact table cloth that I wanted to take home as a memento from my visit. ... hard work. We needed some rest.
After lunch we used a pedestrian and bicycle tunnel to cross the river and take in Antwerp's skyline from the left bank. It was a nice walk over and back. They have elevators and escalators to take you down and up so the walk under the river is flat. No sweat, no rain, just a nice walk.
