    ... savings of not having to stay at a motel or eating out in restaurants it's not so bad. Jan has a new "scrubby-thing" on a stick that she's going to use on the windshield. It just drank a quarter of a big bottle of Dawn. Can't wait to see if it actually works because we wiped out a large percentage of the flying insects between North Carolina and here today. So far she has soap all over the ground and herself. Not sure if the windshield is deriving any benefit. Will keep you ...

    ... concert until almost 6:00. A huge group of us played a few hilarious rounds of Mafia before we had to go upstairs to put on our concert uniforms for the first time. Everyone looked great, even if the girls did slightly resemble a group of highly patriotic flight attendants. The concert itself went wonderfully. But my favorite part was that it gave us all a chance to see our families one last time ...

    ... to have to wait and see how THAT goes. The really unique thing that happened today was that instead of having more orientation after evening rehearsal, we had a special guest. Mr. Ron Sutherland, motivational speaker and former music director with AMA, came in and spoke to us for a little over an hour. He talked about what we needed to remember to make the trip the best it can possibly be for everyone involved. ...

    ... sound great, and we're all getting comfortable with each other and our directors. I'm so excited to hear what we're going to sound like with some more practice! Most of our day has been an exhausting mix of rehearsals and orientation sessions, with dinner sandwiched in between. I'm a little surprised we had time! Tomorrow is going to be even more packed with activities to help us get ready, so I'm not going to write a super long post today. Goodnight, and see you tomorrow! ...

    ... other. Got up Saturday morning and drove to Kutztown to get some meats and pastries, only available in PA., to bring home. Priscilla, we got your loaf of bread.
    Drove south, about 3 1/2 hours, to Lorton, VA. to catch the autotrain. Vacation is almost over..... :(
