      ... in the dark we never investigated it until the next day. When we went to take the motorhome for a test drive and found out we couldn't retract the slide outs . Aaaghhh ...so. We found an RV place and bought some hydraulic oil and filled up and with fingers crossed tried again and Voila the slides went in. We breathed a sigh of relief. We are.       ... often in Atlantic Canada and we noticed that no-one (except us) wore raincoats - they just wore their everyday clothes and didn't hurry to avoid getting put of the rain - guess they're used to it.....

      We saw very few signs of poverty, even in big cities. There appears to be more of a middle class in Canada, although there certainly are some wealthy Canadians - we drove by many huge estates on our travels.
