On the second night we chilled and he cooked me spaghetti bolognese and I bought in some yummy garlic bread. We had a good time and Wanaka is a chilled place. I wish I was not watching the clock as if i had more days i would have liked to have stayed here longer, rested my feet and gone skiing. Oh well, next time!

Beautiful Lake Wanaka
... we strolled the grounds for a bit, enjoying the sun and perfect view of the sparkling blue lake. What a place!
Then it was on to hike up Rob Roy mountain. Another beautiful place. We sat in the grass halfway up and luxuriated in our wine and cheese, sandwiches and cookies. Another "Ten!"

Gigantische Wasserfälle, Gletscher zum greifen nah
... das Auto es ohne irgendwelche Probleme überstanden hatte. Doch es war schon 14:55 Uhr als wir in Wanaka eintrafen. Zu spät fuhr den Skydive Jump von Erik.
Frustriert, dass Erik den Jump verpasste und seine Kamera auf dem Wanderweg nach einem Sturz kein Bild mehr machte, war sein letzter Wille eine Ladung Bier zu kaufen. Ich brachte ihm zum nächstgelegenden Supermarkt tat. Dort setzte ich auch den Hitch Hikger ab.
