... e lose to 8 hours of work to complete, A ton of Amazon purchases to both receive and return, a borrowed camera to learn, taxes to pay, a doctors appointment for a Cortisone shot in my bursitis laden hip , food to eat and maybe some sleep.... But as we all know this is par for the course for me!

The real question will be:Who can guess what the first Item I will have forgotten will be?More tomorrow as the sojourn truly begins!

... where on the last sunday of each month the farm provides a free breakfast to anyone who shows up (usually CSA members, family, and friends). Guests are also invited to donate to the farm in exchange for the breakfast, which also consists of all-local food.

After waking up and getting ready my third day of driving, I put the pedal to the metal and high-tailed my way to Ann Arbor. It turns out I arrived in the height of construction season, because traffic had to be directed to the nearby township of Saline (pronounced se-leen) before it could enter Ann Arbor proper. ... asked how many more and the fellow said 15, every 3 miles... then he said no, I'm the last... that's why people are happy to see me. Well, that would be true if Chicago is your destination. We carried on eastward and paid a bridge toll of $4 to cross the Chicago Skywalk Bridge and then we hit Indiana.
