Woensdag hadden we een wat kortere dag voor de boeg, dus rustig opgestaan en alles in de auto geladen. In San Francisco nog even rond gereden langs de meest bochtige weg van SF en naar de punt bij de Golden Gate Bridge. De straten daar zijn wel erg stijl! Doorgereden via Highway 1, een mooie weg, maar helaas was het mistig en konden we dus niet …

The battle term ....."leave no man behind" apparently applies to only the riders in the Charlie and Delta companies.
So we decided to keep cranking and try and out run the Bravo Company guys to the first rest stop at the 23 mile mark. But, like the poor break away groups at the Tour de France, the Bravo Group Peloton reeled us ...
