On to Door County Bakery. I didn't realize it was so far out of town, or we might have stopped in Fish Creek first. But the food there was fantastic. We got the quiche to go, plus some other yummy stuff and we managed not to spend too much. We took our food and headed south to Cave Point SP. We went up to Parfrey's Glen. We had driven past yesterday (sunday) with the intention to see it, but with cars filling the parking lot and out onto the highway felt it wouldn't be the experience we wanted. Today was much better, we only saw ...

... walk so were on our own. Not too many people and we often were watching the birds alone. It was fun to see the two young birds born there at the center. (I'll look for their names, but I can't find them). Another pair is nesting. After walking through the rest of the habitats we came to the Whooping Cranes. This may be the only time I see one. I sat in awe for an hour or more enjoying them. I was so happy to be there. If ...
