We awoke at the usual work time and began to get ready for all that today would bring. Dale went off to work with wet shoulders after his mum said goodbye and there wasnt a dry eye in the place as he headed off to catch his train into the city. Karen spent the day with Kiana and some others at Capilano Suspension Bridge. I'd already gone so I chilled elsewhere for the day (mainly the hostel doing stuff on my computer which I didn't get finished). Eventually I became tired of hanging around so I met up with Mark and a German guy at the SameSun backpackers. We had a couple of pitchers, and I text Karen to tell her we'd been invited to a party.

Later in the morning, it was a visit to Mountain Equipment Coop for a new pack and then out to the airport in the afternoon for the flight home. It was very nice to have more than a sprint through Vancouver - great place, and I would love to live there again sometime..
