    cookhouse, and then collapsed at home. Our sleeping schedules are way off and
    we’re out of practice with doing two shows but it came back to us.

    The crowds were fantastic today and I was able to get a
    good amount of face painting done before and between shows. Oriana has joined

    ... our jammies - we stopped at the Silver Lake Sand Dune State Park and rode a big butt dune buggy over the dunes for about an hour. It was great fun and the whole car got a kick out of the 2 "Red Hat Ladies" trying to climb in and out of the darn thing. Glad we only stopped a couple of times, I couldn't have climbed in and out many more times.
    ANOTHER EARLY START TOMORROW - we catch the ferry from Muskegon to Milwaukee tomorrow morning.

    ... I enjoyed the company of these people.

    And so that was the end of the festival for us. We drove to a rest stop and the following morning went to a diner for breakfast (where we saw other Foresters) and I dropped John off at the airport before going back to the farm. Electric Forest was a wonderful experience to have, and while I wasn't overly-zealous about the idea when we got there, I would not trade the experience for a shirt signed by every performer at the festival.

    ... day, I slept in until the soccer game started. U.S v Germany. We watched it at as a family, with most all of us squeezing onto the couch or pulling up chairs.     ... very minimal set up much better as they showed us what people mean by southern hospitality. The music was really enjoyable and not knowing many of the bands we were able to just 'follow our ears' around what was a fantastically planned festival- the 'electric forest' itself was amazing.
