We left Scotland a coupleof days ago. The weather is improving .
we called into to see Cath who lives in Northallerton, Yorkshire. Cath is sister to our friend Lyn and we have met her several times when she holidays in Australia. Lovely lady invited us to stay the night and even cooked dinner for us. Her friend James was there also so it was a nice evening.

... going via Newark, Philadelphia and Baltimore. I’m actually typing this on the train – with my laptop plugged into the power outlet at every seat. We’re in the Business class Quiet Car – dimmed lighting, no cell phones and no loud conversations allowed. The reclining seats are very comfortable with heaps of legroom. a pull down table, a footrest and free wifi are all part of the deal. Then there’s a café car in the centre of the ...
