This is the question that was floating through my mind all day Monday and part of Tuesday. I am famous for saying "I will never go to Africa". Yet here I am, with 30 other crazy Americans packing 62 suitcases + 31 personal carry-on items and making the final preparations to drive to Chicago in order to fly to Yaounde Cameroon via Istanbul.
Each person had a personal checked bag and then a ministry bag that they were responsible ...
We decided (kind of) at the last minute that rather than driving down to Chicago the night before we are just going to get up early to drive down. We have a long layover in Fort Lauderdale so been thinking about how we might spend our time there.
