    ... each town and prowl through all the unique shops. Was limited with the ability to do this very much this year as it us not a favorite activity of kids.     ... windpants and 2 pairs of socks. That wind.

    Anyhow, we fished with spinner bait and caught a ton of bass spawning up and down the river.

    The water getting there was rocky and shallow but crystal clear and amazing. Wish I had a paddle board, some sunshine and Texas heat.

    ... loves to drive so he didn't mind and it gave us a chance to see more of Wisconsin which we really enjoyed as well, so not a bad trade off. We just knew ahead of time our experience wouldn't be ideal. In the end though it was a fabulous part of our trip and we were glad we went.

    ... here. There are numerous orchards. We stopped at one today and sampled cherry everything. From cherry fudge to cherry salsa. Oh, we did leave with fresh cherry donuts in hand.     Today we arrived in Baileys Harbor, in the lovely Door County, WI (Cape Cod of the Midwest!), our home for the next five days.

    Getting here over the last two days was beautiful. After sleeping 10 hours (!), we left Charlevoix mid-morning for a walk along the beach at Fisherman's Island State Park.
