Another driving day.

It was a beautiful sunny day today and around 70 degrees. We filled up with fuel and headed west on Highway 20. ... on the side of a nice bass fishing lake (reservoir). Taking a walk to the lake at dusk we were startled by hundreds of turkey buzzards that were roosting above the trail. Made quite a noise when we startled a hundred of them.

Another stop was the tomb of Meriweather Lewis of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Lewis was Governor of the Louisiana territory when he was traveling the Trace on his way back from Washington ...
