Visiting Ben's Oupa and Sundowners in Cape Town
On Sunday we drove to Villiersdorp to visit Ben's 87 year old Grandad and family. We had an amazingf fish soup and white fish for lunch. The best home cooked meal we'd had for a while.
We later went to Blue Peter for sundowners and saw the most amazing sunset! We then went to Ons Huisie and had fish and chips! ...

... Town so had lots of useful info and tips for us about shipping and travel all over south America. We swopped lots of waypoints with them as they planned on doing some overlanding in southern and east Africa and that was a region we knew quite well from our previous jaunts in Jambo and they in turn handed over some maps of Argentina which are always useful.

... newly born for a little while. Each of us get his shot of the tail (the one to bring home after the big 5), but we do not see any crazy jump off the water, or a whale crushing a sail boat (it actually happened that same day a few km away, with the picture plastered all over the newspaper). On the "unmade up" road to nowhere
... a can of coke to celebrate. Well we have 3 hours to kill and Aguillas is only a few miles down the road, so very slowly off we go.... Get there, go to lighthouse, but once again sea so calm you can hardly see where the Atlantic and Indian meet. But we got there, so back in lping car to find somewhere to eat. ... and then it took forever to pick everyone else up. 3 and a half hours later we arrived in Hermanus and weather is still overcast.
