... a car park and the word "gridlock" came to mind many times as we sat in the bus watching this poor bus driver manoeuver her way through the labyrinth of cars, no wonder they have 50 car pile ups in the US, the stream of red lights from cars rears went on as far as the eye could see!!!
So off the bus with our booty and onto the subway, we wanted to get back to the apartment, grab the camera and head out to see the dept store xmas window ...
We have a nine hour layover, so we will be heading into the city (planes, trains, and boats all in a few hours).
We have a route planned out in Amsterdam including the English Kerk (where the Pilgrims gathered for worship in 1608) and the famous art museum that has paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer.
... Most importantly, I feel blessed to be one of the few people who have the opportunity to study abroad, not once but twice!
