It was our last night camping in the USA and enjoying the wilderness, so we head back early to enjoy ourselves. We get back and go for a run along the “Fitness Trail” they had at the campground, which involved 20 'exercise stations’ along this 2mile trail. those last 3 hours were BRUTAL. As much as I didn’t want to leave Honduras, by
that point we just wanted to get home already. And our flight wasn’t due to
take off until 1:30am! Fortunately, we were able to change up our seats so
neither of us wound up in the middle. Julia actually got a window, and I was
one row in front of her in the aisle. And I even slept a good amount of the
flight! We landed a little earlier ...
... I hope I have an opportunity to take a hike though a trail once I get to Monterey. Last night I was reading up on some of the main destinations to look out for on my way down. The list includes. BigSur, Carmel, Monterey, and of course McWay falls. I will be sure to stop over at each of these destinations and take some great pictures. It's only two short days I need to make the most of it. I expect to head out by noon ...

... we unloaded the car and then returned it to "lovely" Newark airport. This time the trains were working so the return went smoothly. Once back we settled in to wait for the Millers. Bruce thought they were arriving at 3:30 but it was really closer to 6. Since we were within walking distance of an outlet mall, this confusion served to keep me anchored to the hotel instead of spending money shopping! Thankfully, I missed my opportunity ...
