We vaguely remembered B'ham as pretty boring and with not a lot to see, but on revisiting we were actually impressed by the buildings and the sights. ... got home and started packing as tomorrow we are flying to Birmingham, England! We will be staying in England for 5 days visiting Leandra's relatives. I am so excited, ever since I was little I have had a fascination with the UK and now I'm finally going! We also got ready to go to a show taping where we would be in the audience. How cool! ... know which room it actually was.

We had dinner at the Great Stone Inn - I had Curry and a beer - very nice. They had a quiz night going on, no chance for us with questions about english soccer teams etc. Mary, Val and Jim were top notch on old singers and songs.

We left the car in the car park and walked back to the hotel thinking how lucky we are ...

Tomorrow a day exploring around - and a trip to Warwick Castle perhaps. Cheers
