    ... themselves off for a quiet couple of hours,resting, I spent mine on the beach ....Just had to get the flavour of the families enjoying 4th July, and they were!!!
    Water warm enough for swimming and many playing beach games.

    After another lovely gathering of our friends on the back terrace,and pre barbecue nibbles (eating too much), we enjoyed another barbecue cooked by chef Jorge, before the 6 of us ...

    ... and learned about the Coast Guard festival coming up in a few weekends (just missed it!). It was wonderful to spend time catching up with Heather, while the waves crashed along the shore. The tall grasses and sand dunes are just like Cape Cod - it's easy to understand what drew them to this small Victorian town.

    After much deliberation, we settled on the Blue Pig Tavern at Congress Hall for a delicious dinner in a cozy setting (see picture below).
