... wonderful open space with cafes, children's playground, chess and other games. Beautiful trees and gardens with lots of tables and chairs to sit at. People were put and about enjoying the beautiful weather. We sat there for quite a while just taking it all in. Free Wifi so posted some photos. ... Italian restaurant in Little Italy. The cab driver that took us there was very entertaining if a little outspoken. His skill at navigating during peak hour was masterful. After a lovely dinner we took our first ride on the subway to the Empire State Building. We lined up with a large crowd, paid our money and were transported up to the 86th floor. Sunday April 12

This morning we walk up to Time Square to get on the hop on bus. This will take us to the Empire State building which is about 15 min in traffic away from here. Today is warmer and no wind so just need one jacket, scarf and gloves. Most celebrities or people in costume on the way to Time Square are red, blue and yellow Elmo 's, 3 Woody's and a Pokemon with the usual fat ugly man in the bikinis doing a dance. Eeeeew!!!!!

... I have no sense of direction but hell I wasn’t going to let that stop me. So my first stop was to go to Solomon R. Guggenheim museum, which contrary to the name is actually a gallery of 20th century art.
