... upscale Goodwill store—It feels like an upscale consignment shop, and didn’t find anything I liked or could afford! I did get 6 pair of trouser socks—for $4. ... idea what was going on. She feels it is an infection too, and suggested just watching it a few more days. But tonight Elly seems almost back to normal even though the eye is not totally open. Suzie called and we talked about our upcoming trip to the San Juan’s on the ferry to Friday Harbor and then on her brothers boat to Stuart Island where he lives. I am excited to do this small trip, and we will leave on the 16th.

We did not rent a car our entire 10 days in France and really enjoyed that freedom of movement. Paris is very walkable, and for quick getting around, the subway (Metro) system is fantastic, safe, clean, and easy to navigate once you dive into it.
