... a final dirt road only to find the road gated/locked. OOPS. So D pulled out the laptop – using my saved directions. ... David, Cara, and girls had gone to an afternoon kids party. They left their dog--Brownie--at Cara's parents house--which is one block over and down the hill from Linda and Gary. When the lightening struck, Brownie jumped over the kennel fence and ran. She ran to Linda and Garys. When she heard the car coming up the driveway (1/4 mi long) she started for the car. We got up this morning and went about as usual. We all went to pick up Jack from VBS, and left directly for the coast afterwards. We ate at Mo's, whitch was delicious, as always. Then, we went to Nye Beach to play in the ocean. We also made a detour to this awesome playground. It had all sorts of spinny rides, and a 40 ft. slide! We all went to Dory Cove for supper. ... it has barely gotten over 50. Today I was sprinkled on during my first five miles and the wind was vicious and cold. It looks like that is now the forecast for the rest of the week. Boo Hiss!

Tomorrow I'm planning to get out early, hit the gym and be home by noon. I'm feeling stronger every day and more optimistic about proving my podiatrist very wrong! Any over 50's out there want to train with me? I'd love to have the company. See you tomorrow!
