      ... by had a roof covered in snow...but the kids missed it! When we made it to the seafront (Marni still walking, although we had done 1,2,3....swing! - Brody is just too heavy though.) There was snow in the Lakes District hills. Yeah...very exciting.

      ... the shower and store clothes etc in a large locker. Can get your bike mended there as well while you work. Turns out that New York Street used to be called York Street - which is on the maps..... will be much easier next visit.
      And then to cap it all, when we finally got to Ikea they were having some sort of Christmas party so the restaurant was shut..... - had to make do with a hot dog and French Fries from the takeaway bit near the checkouts.

      ... no doubt be consuming this next fortnight. Every little helps.I did 40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise using the treadmill, cross-trainer and stationary bike. I also did some arm-work using dumb-bells.
