      Saying Goodbye to Tennessee

I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

... when we realised the train was air-conditioned; we noticed people looking and smiling at us in that sad and sympathetic kind of way. Showers tonight felt great and that was quickly followed by a nice steak meal and Napa Valley red (adults only) to celebrate the end of our North American trip.

Our challenge tomorrow…fit everything into our bags and ensure they are all under 50lbs or face heavy fines.

... forts, so, being easily distracted by such things, I diverted off the freeway. The plantation house, and plantation was shut on this day, a Monday, so I followed the signs to an English fort. It took me through reeded, wet swampy areas, complex river systems, and into a town that boasted an 18th century founding. 1760s I think. It was a quite town, no one seemed about. The warm sun did add to it's charm. I followed the signs towards the fort, through ...
