    ... were last night'. The cemetery, like the ones in New Orleans are above the ground due to the *************e and the tendency for flooding.
    We continued our walk dos to Front Street, where performers gather each night. We found three cruise ships in port, but preparing to leave as the sun was setting. A,though a great spot for sunsets, the cruise ships did block the good views, but I did manage to get a couple of photos.

    ... our favourites. Duval Street and Malory Square were full of Cuban, Spanish and American restaurants with live music everywhere and a great party atmosphere. The thunderstorm in the afternoon reminded us that we were on an island in the middle of the hurricane season, 90 miles from Cuba and surrounded by ocean but we were ok with that after we moved from under the steel poled umbrella into our cottages under the palm ...

    Waking up in a bed was a lovely feeling this morning. We had a complimentary breakfast at the hostel which consisted of pastry or fruit. That's all. Obviously I opted for the fruit considering they were mince or cheese pastries. We were off to key west today. The drive was so beautiful.
